Damn!

Subject: Weapons Regulations

In accordance with New York State Penal Law Article 265 Section 265.01, it is a crime in New York State to possess a rifle, shotgun, air gun (including BB guns), spring gun, or other firearm when in the buildings or on the grounds of any school, college, or university, even if you have a valid New York State firearm permit. It is also a crime to possess nunchacku (or karate sticks), daggers, switchblades, locking butterfly knives, stun guns, and any other instruments that are deemed unlawful by New York State Penal Law Article 10.

Given all the hunters hunting all you poor students down, I think it's a crime they're not letting you defend yourselves. Shame on them.
