Why is it that whenever you put a shirt on without looking, you ALWAYS put it on backwards?!?

“ANYWAY,” Helen cut in, “I don’t have time for this activity today. I’m going to see a movie with Shasta later.”

“Ooh, what movie?”

“The Gruesome Murder of Gemini.”

“You’re seeing that with your twin sister? That’s sick, Helen.”

Helen chucked. “So, Emily, how does tomorrow sound?”

Emily looked at me “Tomorrow good?”

I nodded. “We’ll see you tomorrow.”

“Oh no you won’t!” Helen said. “This is a girl thing. You two can stay home and watch the game or something.”

“What game?” Bugsy asked.

“Isn’t there always a game?”

“What sport are you thinking of right now?”

“Umm… That one where the guy throws the ball at the other guy who tries to hit it into the end zone with the stick?”

“You forgot about the part where the goalie rolls it through the little windmill,” Emily said. I assume she was joking.

“Wait, they do that in basketball?” Helen asked.

“Only where they’re playing doubles,” Bugsy said.

“Alright, so I’ll see you tomorrow,” Emily said.

And the three of me went home.
